BOSS BX15 Electronic Subwoofer Crossover, High & Low Inputs

I bought the BX15 because i needed a controller for my home sub woofer. The original amp that it came with no longer exists. So i had a full range amp, but needed to cut the frequencies for the sub.

So i went with the cheapest one i could find. The BX15 is a great product. It does everything

it advertises, so NO disappointments here. There is a wonderful bass boost at selectable frequencies, and right and left channel gain settings. The package comes with everything you need for a full and complete installation. It came with the power wire with an inline fuse protector and the speaker wire jack for the speaker wire input besides the RCA input. The green LED lights up immediately upon powering up, and it’s very simple to adjust and understand the controls.

A simple, easy to use, great looking product that I would definitely recommend

as well as purchase again without a problem.

Overall a great product. Nice and simple.

Here’s my issue with it:

The power terminal is very small. This is a car crossover requiring +12V of power. The wire I was using in it was 20 gauge, which is very thin. The +12V terminal screw broke almost immediately as I tried to unscrew it to insert the +12V wire into it. But I did eventually get to half ass it in there and it works just fine without being securely screwed in. However, I would have liked it to have been securely screwed like the other two terminals, +5V remote and the ground.

I would have given it five stars without hesitation, but i considered that kind of a pain about it. so four stars it is.
