i bought this a month ago with all other boss electronics.this and evry thing else worked fine besides the subwoofers so be carful buying those!!!! i have it powering a 2600 watt amp but i also have a battery in my trunk also.works great and easy to istall.got charged in a hour!!!!!only negetive is when my bass hits the liquid crystal displays somtimes looks crazi!!! but thats prolly from the hard bass lines. good buy!!

I picked up the black one elsewhere. It was simple to charge up & install. The instructions don’t tell you that it has to be hooked up to the amp in a complete circuit to charge it. Like with all caps, be sure to ground separate from the amp. ONE BIG THING!!! There aren’t any covers for the terminals. You want to cover the positive terminal in the least! We are talking mega amp, stored up.

Other than that, it works like a cap should, storing power on those hard bass hits. If you’re on a budget, this is cheaper than a new battery.

I have a 2000w Boss Amp and this thing will hold the charge for the beastly DUAL 1200w subs I have, but the charge only last like a week. IDK WTF to do. I already shelled out 35 buscks for it. If you have a smalll system it works. But anything over 1500w for an amp is screwed. I do love the digital display though. It reads about 12.4 when I aint crankin my music, but drops to like 11.2 on a song like “Sugar” or “Down”. It’s redicilus when you have to charge it once a week.

I got the cap. Went to the shop. I was going to have my cousin do the charge and install since I have never done this before. Lets just say it never worked. I watched what he did to see how to properly charge one of these. But unfortunately it never happened. Never worked and I am still a believer in running an isolator with an extra battery. Thought I would try the cap for my wife’s car but now I am going with a 2nd batt.

IT DEFINETALY SOLVED MY LIGHT DIMMING ISSUE FOR MY TRUCK (MY ALTENATOR @ 110 AMPS)

DONT BELIEVE WHAT SOME OF THESE NEGATIVE MINDED DUDES ARE SAYING ABOUT HOW IT IS, ITS EITHER PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO HOOK UP A CAP OR THEY JUST GOT WAAY TOO EXCITED WITH IT THAT THEY JUST DROPPED IT ON THE FLOOR WITH THEIR BUTTERFINGER HANDS RIGHT AFTER THE UPS GUY CAME WITH IT…

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS AWESOME CAP… ITS A BOSS CAPACITOR! DUH!!..
