Installation was straightforward and easy. The only con was the small terminal retaining bolt heads, they were a little small for the ring terminals on my 6 GA wire. A cap this size would typically be used with big power wire.
Just as a side note, this thing only works when the remote pwr turns the amp on. All caps don’t work this way, I’m glad I read the info in the package.
The cap I replaced (a 0.5 farad) didn’t use a remote pwr wire. It really helps the battery/alternator to use a big cap on a 1000 watt amp (I can remember when I didn’t believe it), this one is a lot of bang for the buck.
