1. For the price and quality I love Kenwood. Ive never had problems with any of their equipment and Ive owned a deck, amplifier and other subs. I would definitely get this item if you have a small car. I have a dodge stratus and two of these subs powered with a Kenwood KAC 9104 amp is more than enough to make these subs bump. I use them every day and listen to all types of music. They definitely sound great if you listen to any drum and bass or dubstep too which i love. The subs are very clean and clear with a great quality bump if you have a good box too. Definitely if your somewhat tight on a budget and want an excellent product go with Kenwood.

2. I have 2 10in and 2 12in in my lexus gs 300. the 12′s play great had them for 3 years and no problems. but now to the 10′s. one of them busted in 2 months. the next one busted in 4 months. this not not worth getting and dont buy.

3. This things only cost me $44 and they bump just the right amount. I am pushing two of these in a sealed box with a 2 channel 1600 watt amp at 4 ohms.

   This is the first system I have ever installed and let me just tell you that in a loud and lifted 81 K5 Blazer, these are perfect. I recommend these with a good amp any day.

4. Just got this sub to fill in the system in a Acura RSX base model. This one doesn’t come with the sub like higher end models so its been a small project for my gf. I Installed some polk speakers in the front with a Kenwood 8105d amp pushing a single 10 inch KFC(YUM CHICKEN#-W2512. By the way… amazon… I ordered the 2511 but thats neither here nor there.

   Installation was pretty typical, the 2 push type connectors hold firmly even though I prefer the screw type, I dont think this one will be a problem. The sound is great… for comparison I have a JL W6v2 in my other car. Sound quality is good #JL 12 inch vs Kenwood 10inch is not a fair comparison but the Kenwood holds its own#. For those people who want to be heard around the block… this is NOT the speaker for you. This speaker can get loud… and it can be very clear and precise… but it will not be heard for blocks around#like the JL does.# For filling in and completing a system that had good mids and highs and 0 bass… this is pretty darn good. For just a single speaker, i have to turn the amp gain to about halfway and even out bass settings on the deck to blend evenly. For rap/hip-hop.. i turn it up a little on the deck and presto.

   All in all, for the price paid on Amazon#$44) the speaker is a great bargain. My girlfriend is happy, she can bump her system on the way to work and our road trips wont be so boring in her car… I recommend this sub for anyone on a budget who needs that extra thump to fill your system.

5. I put two of these 10″ into my 2009 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab, and they sound great glad that I went with the 10′s instead of the 12′s, I feel that it may have been overload for the cab size. Plus I don’t need a system to rattle the neighboring cars, I just wanted something that hit well. The best part is even with a song that is thumping pretty good it can be really loud in the cab but still pretty quiet outside the truck. That may be a negative for some who may want to show off but I don’t. Here are my other components:
